I think that gray is one of the few eyeshadow colours I’ve never tried out. Not on purpose, I don’t have anything against gray, I just never really gravitated towards the colour in the makeup department of my style. So today I wanted to try something I never have before and this is what I came up with! I have to admit, I was a bit apprehensive because I know I look best in warm colours since I have yellow undertones in my skin, but I don’t think wih makeup that anything should be off limits, and I wanted to see if I could make it work and branch out a bit from my every day go to colour scheme. While doing my makeup, I was kind of regretting it when I saw how ashy the gray was, but I’m glad I stuck it out because I liked the change. If you’re looking for a change, don’t be afraid to try new things, because you might just like it.
As I mentioned, I’ve never done a gray look before, so I had to go into my Coastal Scents 252 Colour Eyeshadow palette. Yes, you read that right. A palette with 252 colours. It actually has three trays (84 pots per tray). I always go to this palette when I have to do something dramatic and I can’t find the colours in my every day palettes. A set of shadows this extensive has it’s benefits! In addition to this, I also used the Morphe 35T palette and some Colourpop Products too! Everything is listed below, and HERE is a link for the tutorial I posted on YouTube.
