Rihanna Wild Thoughts Inspired Makeup Tutorial

I know you all saw what I did when you watched the new video for “Wild Thoughts” by DJ Khaled.

That bomb makeup Rihanna was wearing in the green scene!

It hit me so hard, that I immediately made plans to change my hair and thought about what makeup I had that could recreate that look!

As always, Rihanna looked amazing, and if you don’t know what I’m talking about, you should really check it out! Of course I’ll insert some stills from the video. I love the song (and the one it was sampled from), and it all just screamed “summer” to me. From the street party that was going on throughout, to the sultry dance moves and summer ready makeup, the video was a banger.

So the look I decided to recreate was the one where Rihanna was wearing this fabulous green dress. Her makeup is bold and definitely says “look at me”. That red lip is everything, and her dewy glow provides the perfect backdrop for this sultry, bold and brazen look!

To recreate it, I used a whole lot of different shadows and decided to darken the lip a little bit to a deeper red. I did some contouring and highlighting as well, here is how it turned out! Products are listed below, and I also filmed a tutorial as well. Check out my youtube channel to see step by step instructions.

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! I definitely had fun doing it. It’s so much fun doing celebrity inspired makeup looks, and I think this summer will be full of them! This look is perfect for an evening out, or if you’re on vacation. The “look at me” red lip, and “come hither” eyeshadow really is a stand out, and I believe this kind of intense makeup is here to stay for a while!
